Teaching Practice (Second Phase) : Weekly Experience (Second week)
Day 4 (19/06/2023, Monday)
'Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body'. Today is June 19 vayanadhinam. Association assembly for 8th standard students at 10:00 a.m. H.M. address the students and speak about the importance of reading and students from 8th standard speak about the importance of reading and they gave the reading the message. After that I was assembly for the up section. One student from the up section sing a beautiful folk song and the students from you to section read the reading the message. Hm Sanders are inaugurated the Vidyarangam Kalasahityavedi and vayanavaravhosham. Book exhibition for the students in the library. Served the mid day meals at 12:30 p.m. I got an extra period in 9A class. I and Deepthy teacher engage them in a game. The game was to tell the name of some fruits and was conducted for two groups the boys group and the girls group. The game will improve the vocabulary of the students.
Day 5 (20/06/2023, Tuesday)
Maine teacher asked me to conduct it test paper in 9G class. Some students were a bit naughty but they cooperative with me. During the lunch break the H.M. asked us to change the room allotted for us to the seminar hall. But in the seminar hall there was the selection for NCC cadets so we were asked to sit in a classroom in the Parijatham building. I got an extra period in 8C class at the third period. I engage the students in a game.
Day 6 (21/06/2023, Wednesday)
Reached school at 9:15 a.m. and signed the attendance register. At 12.30pm served the mid day meals to the students. I had 8L class at 4th period. The lesson plant cell was taken with the help of chart showing the diagram of plant cell. Effectively conveyed the topics to the students by properly using the learning aids and blackboard. I got an extra period in 8L class at 5th period. I give the students note of the studied portion.
Day 7 (22/06/2023, Thursday)
Reached the school at 9.15 a.m. and signed the attendance reguster. Today I have no classes and I checked the papers of 9G students. During the lunch break Yadhu visited me. On Monday he went on a trip to Kannur and visited the Muthappan temple and he shared his travel experience on the Vande Bharat train with me. At 3.30 p.m. we have the duty to maintain the discipline of this students while they went back to home. At 4th period I visited 8 I class for the peer observation of Soubhagya's class. Class was taken interestingly using video and chart. Blackboard writing was very neat and legible but she has to pay more attention in her classroom management.
Day 8 (23/06/2023, Friday)
I went to school with an assumption that there will be no classes today since there was an education ban. But classes go on as usual. In the first period the school premises was cleaned by the 8th standard students. At 12.30 p.m. we served the mid day meals to the students. I had 9G class at the 4th period and the lesson nutrients was taken with the help of ppt. Lesson was effectively conveyed with the students and time was properly managed. I had 8L class at 7th period. The lesson nucleus was taken with the help of model. Students were excited to saw the model and the lesson was effectively conveyed. Since it was last period I felt some difficulty in managing the time.
