Teaching Practice (Second Phase) : Weekly Experience (First week)

Day 1 (14/06/2023, Wednesday)
After a short period of time returning back to school was really a nice experience as a teacher. As part of our b.Ed curriculum we were assigned teaching practice in various schools. I got G.V.H.S.S. Njekkad for my teaching practice. Totally 15 teachers students from Sree Narayana Training College Nedunganda where allotted there. We were allotted a separate room in the Ashokam building (U.P Section) for sitting. Deputy H.M. instructed us with various duties and responsibilities during the training period. I visited Mini teacher who was my subject teacher in the school and collected her signature in today's lesson plan. At 12.30 pm we served the mid day meals to the students.I had 9J class at 4th period. The lesson chemical changes of glucose in plants was taken with the help of PPT. I found some of the students bit naughty  but still then they cooperated to my class. Ensured active teacher pupil interaction throughout the class. Vidya natural science department visited my class for peer observation. Vidya told me that my voice modulation was good and I have good content knowledge but I have to improve my class management.

Day 2 (15/06/2023, Thursday)
Reached the school at 9:20 a.m. and signed the attendance register. We had a meeting at 11am. Sabu sir instructed us with various duties and responsibilities during the training period and gave us valuable comments. Today I have no classes.At sixth period I visited 9K for peer observation of Shilpa's class. She has good class management and her content knowledge was good but she has to pay more attention in time management.

Day 3 (16/06/2023, Thursday)
It was the last day of the week. HM instructed us to create a WhatsApp group including the student teachers from our college, HM,  Deputy HMand SRG convener Sabu sir for passing important messages with us. So I created the WhatsApp group and added of the members. When I visited Mini teacher for collecting her signature in the lesson plan she inform to me that from monday onwards the time table of all teachers change. So she gave me the new time table and the classes allotted for me was 8L and 9G. Yadhu from 10th standard visited me during the lunch break and he was my case study for project. Today I had 3 periods. I had 8L at second period and 9J at fourth and fifth period. Effectively conveyed the lessons in the classes.
The first week moved so easily and quickly. Everything went in a smooth manner this week.Every one attented their class.

Day 25 (24/07/2023, Monday) Reached the school at 9:15 a.m. During the second period 1985 - 86 SSLC batch alumini donated desk and benches to 7H. The function was inaugurated by school H.M. Sri Santhosh sir. Some teachers of the U.P. section where the students of 1985 - 86 SSLC batch. Some aluminies shared their experience. I had 8L class during second period. The lesson organs and organ systems were taken using concept attainment model teaching method. Students identified the definition of the concept by themselves with the help of the teacher. Day 26 (25/07/2023, Tuesday) Reached the school at 9:15 a.m. and signed the attendance register. Today Mini teacher was half day leave. So she informed me to attend 9B class during the first period and conducted test paper for them. I conducted the test paper. We serve the mid day meals to the students.
