Teaching Practice : Weekly Experience (Tenth Week)

 

DAY 42 ( 06/02/2023 , Monday)

Reached the school at 9:10am and signed the attendance register. I hand over the evaluation sheet to Mini teacher for the purpose to distributing marks for my teaching practice. After putting the marks Mini teacher gave the evaluation sheet to me. I had 8L class at the 3rd period. I collected the feedback of students about my class.  At 12:30pm we served the mid day meals to the students. Today there was no classes after the lunch break because there was modal exam for Higher Secondary students. At 3:00pm the pre modal exam for 10th standard students started. After 3:00pm we left the school.

DAY 43 (07/02/2023 , Tuesday)

Reached the school at 9:10am and signed the attendance register. I taught Hindi to Vishnu of 10th standard. I had 9J class at 3rd and 4th period. At 12:30pm we served the mid day meals to the students. Classes ended at 2:30pm because there was pre modal exam for 10th standard from 3:00pm. One of the senior teacher of the school assigned exam duty to us in the exam hall of an IED student. Today’s pre modal exam was Hindi. After 3:30pm we left the school.

DAY 44 (08/02/2023 , Wednesday)

Reeache the school at 9.10 am and signed the attendance register. At 2nd period I went to 8L class and distributed sweets among students and talked with them. it was my last class. We took a group photo. At the first interval I visited Mini teacher and presented her a gift. She blessed me best wishes for my future. She was a constant support and strength throughout my teaching practice. Then I presented gifts to my beloved students Vishnu , Yadhu , Aswathy  and Surya. At 4th period I went to 9J class and distributed sweets among students and we took a group photo. Mini teacher also joined us. After the 4th period we visited the HM and presented him a gift. He wished us to become good teachers. We cleaned the library. The most emotional farewell was from our Vishnu. He was continuously crying and asking us to stay back. The journey of my 44 days of teaching practice was so memorable. It gave me so many beautiful , emotional and heart touching memories. It introduced me to the beautiful and precious bond of teacher and student. We have a good rapport with all the teachers of the school. Saying a final good bye to our school was so painful.

Day 25 (24/07/2023, Monday) Reached the school at 9:15 a.m. During the second period 1985 - 86 SSLC batch alumini donated desk and benches to 7H. The function was inaugurated by school H.M. Sri Santhosh sir. Some teachers of the U.P. section where the students of 1985 - 86 SSLC batch. Some aluminies shared their experience. I had 8L class during second period. The lesson organs and organ systems were taken using concept attainment model teaching method. Students identified the definition of the concept by themselves with the help of the teacher. Day 26 (25/07/2023, Tuesday) Reached the school at 9:15 a.m. and signed the attendance register. Today Mini teacher was half day leave. So she informed me to attend 9B class during the first period and conducted test paper for them. I conducted the test paper. We serve the mid day meals to the students.
