Teaching Practice : Weekly Experience (Seventh Week)

 DAY 27 (16/01/2023 , Monday)

Reached the school at 9.10am and signed the attendance register. Today Dhanya teacher visited our school for observation. I collected the signature of Mini teacher in today's lesson plan. Mini teacher asked me to take attendance of 8A class. I had 8L class at third period. Dhanya teacher observed my class. The lesson 'Lost Links' was taken with the help of ppt and chart. After the class Dhanya teacher suggested that I had good sound modulation, my blackboard writing was neat and I had good classroom management but I had to pay more attention on formative evaluation and reinforcement. Today grade classes started for 10th standard students. The students were assembled on the assembly ground and led to the classes on the basis of their grades. At the fourth period Biju sir, our physical education sir visited our school for observation. We took the students of 8A to the play ground and lined up them. Then we played some minor games. After the gaming session we re-assemble them and send them back to the classes. Biju sir checked our lesson plan. At 12.30 pm, we served mid day meals to the students. Dhanya teacher and Biju sir left the school after the fourth period. Jyothy lekshmi teacher asked us to help 8D students to do their IT practicals. At fifth and sixth period, I and Drisya helped the students in their IT practicals. After 3.30pm, we left the school.



DAY 28 (17/01/2023 , Tuesday)

Reached the school at 9.10am and signed the attendance register. I collected the signature of Mini teacher in today's lesson plan. I had 9J class at third period. The lesson 'Skeletal and muscular disorders' was taken with the help of chart. Students actively participated in all the activities. At 12.30 pm, we served mid day meals to the students. At the fifth period Sindhu teacher asked me to distribute the worm pills to 10D students. I and Nashidha distributed the pills to the students and marked those who have the tablet in their attendance register. Then we taught some basics to 10th standard students. After 3.30pm, we left the school.


DAY 29 (18/01/2023 , Wednesday)

Reached the school at 9.10am and signed the attendance register. I collected the signature of Mini teacher in today's lesson plan. I had 9J class at fourth period. The lesson 'Organisms with exoskeleton ' was taken with the help of chart. Using a 'conch' the lesson was interestingly introduced to the students. Students were active participants of the class. At 12.30 pm, we served mid day meals to the students. After the lunch break I had no classes. I taught some Biology portions to Vishnu and Sachin of 10th standard. They responded well during the class. After 3.30pm, we left the school.


DAY 30(19/01/2023 , Thursday)

Reached the school at 9.10am and signed the attendance register. I collected the signature of Mini teacher in today's lesson plan.  At third period I gave Malayalam notes to 8A students because Geetha teacher was on leave. I taught the lesson 'Phagocytosis' to Sachin and Vishnu of 10th standard. They grasped the content easily. At 12.30 pm, we served mid day meals to the students. At the fifth period, I had 8L class. The lesson 'Endangered Organisms' was taught with the help of chart and ppt. Students actively participated in all the activities given. Doubts of the students were cleared effectively. After 3.30pm, we left the school.


DAY 31(20/01/2023 , Friday)

Reached the school at 9.10am and signed the attendance register. I collected the signature of Mini teacher in today's lesson plan. I had 8L class at the third  period. The lesson  'Red Data Book' was taken with the help of chart. Students were active participants of the class. Activities were given with the help of chart and activity cards. At 12.30 pm, we served mid day meals to the students. After the lunch break I taught Biology to Vishnu of 10th standard. Today classes ended at 3pm for making arrangements for tommorrow's PSC exam. After 3.30pm, we left the school.

Day 25 (24/07/2023, Monday) Reached the school at 9:15 a.m. During the second period 1985 - 86 SSLC batch alumini donated desk and benches to 7H. The function was inaugurated by school H.M. Sri Santhosh sir. Some teachers of the U.P. section where the students of 1985 - 86 SSLC batch. Some aluminies shared their experience. I had 8L class during second period. The lesson organs and organ systems were taken using concept attainment model teaching method. Students identified the definition of the concept by themselves with the help of the teacher. Day 26 (25/07/2023, Tuesday) Reached the school at 9:15 a.m. and signed the attendance register. Today Mini teacher was half day leave. So she informed me to attend 9B class during the first period and conducted test paper for them. I conducted the test paper. We serve the mid day meals to the students.
