Teaching Practice : Weekly Experience (Fifth Week)

 DAY 19 (05/01/2023, Thursday)

After a short period of time we rejoined the school for our teaching practice. Reached the school at 9.15am. We met the principal and handed over the letter from our college. With his permission we signed the attendance register. We were allotted to be at the school library. I visited Mini teacher and collected her signature in today's lesson plan. At 12.30pm we served the mid day meals for the students. I have 8 L class at fifth period. I took my innovative lesson plan in the class. The lesson 'Ecological interactions' was taught through monoact. The students enjoyed the presentation and they all done the given activities correctly. After 3.30 pm, we left the school.   


DAY 20 (06/01/2023, Friday)

Reached the school at 9.10 am and signed the attendance register. I collected the signature of Mini teacher in today's lesson plan. Mini teacher asked me to take 8 A class at second period because she has to prepare teaching module for tenth standard. I had 8 L class at the third period. The topic 'Diverse Ecosystems' was taken. Students were active participants in the class. At 12.30 pm we served the mid day meals for the students. Today there was a PTA executive meeting at 2 pm and some students and teachers from H.S. were going for a tour, so there was classes only till noon. We were assigned the duty of registration in the meeting. We collected the information of parents and teachers who attended the PTA meeting. After 3.30 m we left the school.


DAY 21 (07/01/2023, Saturday)

Reached the school at 9.10 am and signed the attendance register. I collected the signature of Mini teacher in today's lesson plan. Mini teacher asked me to attend 9 J class in the first period since their class teacher was on leave. At the third period I had 8 L class. The topic 'Biodiversity' was taken in the class. Students actively participated in the activities. I could effectively convey the topic to the students. For the purpose of getting signature in the record, we have to go to college so we left the school at 12.30 pm with the permission of the H.M.

Day 25 (24/07/2023, Monday) Reached the school at 9:15 a.m. During the second period 1985 - 86 SSLC batch alumini donated desk and benches to 7H. The function was inaugurated by school H.M. Sri Santhosh sir. Some teachers of the U.P. section where the students of 1985 - 86 SSLC batch. Some aluminies shared their experience. I had 8L class during second period. The lesson organs and organ systems were taken using concept attainment model teaching method. Students identified the definition of the concept by themselves with the help of the teacher. Day 26 (25/07/2023, Tuesday) Reached the school at 9:15 a.m. and signed the attendance register. Today Mini teacher was half day leave. So she informed me to attend 9B class during the first period and conducted test paper for them. I conducted the test paper. We serve the mid day meals to the students.
